A Family Service counselor helped me understand why my parents had separated and stop acting out at school.
I had been having a lot of fights at school. One day, I got really mad and threw a chair at a teacher. I yelled I was going to “click out.”
They took me to Children’s Hospital Emergency Room and the Family Service (CART) team showed up along with my Dad.
Me and my friends had been sending text messages to each other and then they started picking on me so bad I wanted to kill them.
My dad told the counselors my mother had left home and my parents planned to divorce. They sent my dad and me to an Anti-Bullying workshop where I learned how to deal with the other boys.
I also started talking to a counselor about the divorce.
